Our Jerseys

We are proud of our "girls" and make sure they are proud to have us as their keepers. Every cow is named and registered through the American Jersey Cattle Association. Milk and type performance records are carefully kept on each cow. We rotationally pasture our cows seven months out of the year, and feed them alfalfa hay in the barn during the winter. Grain is fed in the parlor at milking time and fresh water and minerals are available at all times. No rBST or any growth hormones are used to increase milk production. If needed, antibiotics are used sparingly and the treated cow's milk is removed from the "milk line."
